When It Rains It Pours

Ever since Isaac was discharged from the hospital, he has been pooing quite a bit. The funny thing? He always pooed during a feed. Here's the lowdown:
  1. He starts eating, as usual, for a few minutes.
  2. He stops eating, seems to fall asleep.
  3. Knowing he isn't full yet, we keep trying to wake him up for more food. (This happens almost every meal.)
  4. While we're trying to wake him, or maybe have given up on feeding him and went on to check his diaper, he would poo.
This morning, at step #4, I checked his diaper and found it wet. So I put him on a changing pad in the playard's bassinet (which we're using exclusively as a changing table now) and started changing. While I was wiping him clean, he decided to start shooting poo out of his bare bottom! I said "shooting" because it went further than the changing pad's edge and onto the bassinet! Fortunately, the mess was quite contained (other than the poor changing pad). Plus, a rare occurance: he wasn't even fussing about the diaper change! Cleaning up wasn't too bad.

Unlike yesterday, where the order was slightly different: when I was feeding him, he pooed in the middle of the meal. He was fussing as usual, so I covered his tummy with a clean sleeper to keep him warm. As I was wiping his bottom, he decided to pee on the clean clothes. It was frustrating for me, since I was super sleepy and he wasn't cooperating. Good thing Daniel helped with the clean-up that time.
